                   LMI Seal Gap Software

Seal Gap Setup Screen

The Setup Screen is where the part file is created and given it's characteristics. The user has the ability to define the amount of characteristics , define each part file component and each individual Gage ID gage port and tolerances. The user can also define the Nominal point and gage span of the hardware.

Once created the part file will server as a reference for all information to pull from.

The Dual Serial Interface (DSI) option lets the user configure data collect point using a Data Collect. The DSI option has the ability to configure data point so that the user can manual collect data using one of LMI data collector. The DSI point also have configurable tolerances to give a high end flexible use.

The Keyboard option give the user data collection flexibility by collecting data manually and then
writing the value into the software. The keyboard option has configurable tolerance for greater flexibility.

Seal Gap Graphics

The Graphic section is a user customized location where graphic files can be added to the part file.

Select a graphic to import by selecting the appropriate drive and directory, where the file is located.

Supported graphics include:

AI, BMP – Windows Bitmap, CDR, CGM, CTM, CH3, DIB, DRW, DXF - AutoCAD, EPS, GEM, GIF, HGL, JPG, MET, NAP, PCD, PCX, PDI, PIC, PIC, PCT, RND, SYM, SYS3, TGA, TIF, WMF – Windows Metafile, and WPG.

The characteristics boxes can be manually place around the graphic to associate the proper characteristic with the part location. The font can also be resized to match smaller or larger graphics. The option to either insert or delete leader lines associated with the graphic file is customizable by the user. Leader Lines can be place inside the graphic file to associate a specific area.

Seal Gap Calibration

A calibration point is High Cal, Low Cal, or Master on a single gauge or on all gages. Gauges can be calibrated individually or all at the same time using the All gages option.

Individual configured components will be visible in the component list so the user has the ability to calibrated individual certain components.

Seal Gap Rutime

The graphic screen associates a pre- defined graphic with the readings. The part file was previously set up in the configuration setup side of the software to resemble the runtime screen.

This view is widely used for specific data collection on a part that has multiple components. The reading are live readings and once sampled are store in memory.
