February 12 , 2011 -Many of you have used the LMI 440 for  years. This year marks the end for the LMI 440. It has been replaced by the NEW and very improved LMI DM600 model. The new model contains features such as graphics and a new industrial keypad. Also changed is the new TranSend II which supports the new routine programming features. It includes protective boot, reference shoulder built into stem for 31.0 and 50.0 mm nominal positions, and 2-piece tip that won't break off in spindle. Absolute mode, tolerance judgment, and button lock secure user settings and unit supports USB, Digimatic, and Serial communication.
