LMI Components and Assemblies      Typical applications consist of a checking fixture      used to verify the quality of a manufactured      component or assembly. Measurements are      taken at specified characteristic points around      the part. Other applications consist of rivet      head, welds, contours, and fastener      measurements. The challenges are taking      repeatable measurements in the same      locations each time around the part.        LMI offers the solution by using LMI bushings      and blocks at each of the measurement      locations.

Exterior Body Assemblies      Typical applications consist of measuring      dimensional characteristics such as panel and      component fits, seal gap, and assembly      fixture. Some other applications consist of      dimensional measurements for bumper gaps,      cab to box gap and box alignment.        Measurements are taken at specified      characteristic points. The fits of the assembled      panels are critical for reducing wind noise and      water leaks and increasing customer      satisfaction.

The fit of these      components are critical to customer satisfaction.      The challenges are taking repeatable      measurements when there are extremely small      gaps and soft contoured surfaces. LMI has a      complete range of solutions to fit most interior      measurement applications.
